I absolutely freakin' love Ciate Nail Polishes. That pretty much sums up this post and I can pretty much end it here. But, I won't. Because I like to talk. Wait...Type, this is typing. I like to type. ( I don't sit here talking to my computer. Maybe sometimes.) Right, let's just get on with it shall we?
This is the pink polish that you can see on the photos. This one is called Cupcake Queen. (Get why I took the photo with the cake now? See what I did there? I should have been wearing a crown in the shot somewhere. Damn it.) The thing that originally attracted me to this nail polish was that it was pink with a two tone of purple, but that's when it's stored in it's cosey little home. But to my shock and horror (bit dramatic there) when you paint it on your nails the purple hint is no where to be seen. Odd.
Painting this on my nails was a real pleasure. Which I don't usually find. I find painting my nails to be a real pain and sometimes I just really can't be bothered. When you glide this on to your nails it seems to instantly smooth them out and made me feel like I had fake nails on. This has pretty much become my favourite pink nail polish (& I own quite a few)
We now come to 'Confetti'. You may or may not know that I am completely obsessed by glitter. I am known as a magpie because as soon as I see something shiny I just can't draw my eyes away from it ( I guess that's why all my Pokemon cards were shiny). So in terms on Ciate nail polishes this was pretty much on the top of the list. The thing that stands out for me with this particular one in comparison to other glitter nail polishes is that the glitter is a lot more fine and there is a lot more of it in the bottle. So you're not going to spend half an hour fishing for bits of glitter to shove on your nails so they look even. Another plus is that the glitter is rainbow reflecting.
So it doesn't just shine like silver glitter. So you will pretty much find me moving my finger nail around in the light going "ooooh shiny" like a Golem (Lord of the Rings reference there for ya. Or The Hobbit. Which ever you choose. )
These are the only two Ciate nail polishes I own but I shall tell yee now I will definitely be buying more. The quality is fantastic and they aren't as expensive as the OPI's either which is always a bonus. My own negative is that the lid does feel really cheap but who cares about that. LOOK HOW CUTE THEY LOOK!!!!! (Stares at the bow)
Ciate Nail Polishes can be found here as well as popping up into lots of department stores all over!
